Dr. Pauline Walters
I am a Senior Lecturer, and experienced leader in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) studies. My specialist expertise includes working with individuals who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, (SEND), Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Race Equality and Anti-Racism, Inclusive Education, Inclusive Teaching and Learning, Unconscious Bias, and Inclusive Organizational Cultures.
As a Senior Lecturer at The University of Greater Manchester, I manage advance teaching and learning, module leadership, student mentoring, and engage in discipline specific research.
As a thought leader in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, I drive institutional changes through policy, training and development, to bridge structural inequality, promote Inclusion, and develop a sense of Belonging.
PHW Consultancy combines my knowledge, skills, and experience, to provide expert consultancy, training, and professional development that empowers individuals and organizations to create more equitable, inclusive, environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
I collaborate with learners, teachers, school leaders, administrators, and external providers, to design and deliver engaging training programs and tailored consultancy solutions that encourage participants to explore their own experiences, understand the impact of inequality, recognize barriers to inclusion, and identify practical ways to create positive change.
My passion is to create environments in which people feel valued, respected, included, and empowered to reach their full potential, through transforming knowledge into action that supports individuals and organizations create lasting, meaningful change.

Daniel J. T. Edmondson
EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT
Daniel J. T. Edmondson FRSA is a Lecturer and Centre Manager for the International Centre for Educational Leadership (ICEL) at the University of Greater Manchester.
His research focuses on Higher Education pedagogy, student engagement, educational leadership and institutional improvement, with particular interests in student transition, High-Impact Educational Practices (HIPs), widening participation and evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning.
Daniel’s PhD research investigates the use of interdisciplinary undergraduate research projects as a High-Impact Practice to support student transition and success in Higher Education.
His wider research explores educational leadership, curriculum innovation, practitioner inquiry and system reform, including collaborative school improvement through laboratory school models and instructional rounds.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), Fellow of Global SpritEd, Research Associate with RAISE (Researching, Advancing and Inspiring Student Engagement), and Visiting Researcher at the University of Sunderland, Daniel’s research interests aims to bridge educational research, policy and practice to improve learner outcomes across schools, colleges and universities.

EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT
Diahann Abraham is a Talent, Workforce & Inclusion Strategist with over 15 years of experience across recruitment, human resources, and workforce strategy. Holding a Master’s degree in Employment Studies & Human Resource Management, she helps organisations build sustainable talent solutions, strengthen workforce capability, and develop inclusive strategies that drive long term business success.
Throughout her career, Diahann has designed and delivered transformative workforce development programmes across apprenticeships, graduate recruitment, and career transition pathways. She has worked with organisations to address critical skills gaps, build future talent pipelines, and develop workforce strategies that respond to evolving business and industry demands.
A strong advocate for widening participation, Diahann is passionate about creating fairer access to employment and professional careers. She believes that opportunity is not always equally accessible and has dedicated much of her career to helping organisations examine and remove the structural barriers that limit who gets a foot in the door. Her work in this space goes beyond policy, it translates into practical programmes and partnerships that create real, measurable change for individuals from underrepresented and less advantaged backgrounds.
Diahann has collaborated extensively with employers, education providers, community organisations, and industry partners to develop initiatives that support skills development, workforce readiness, and career progression. This cross-sector experience gives her a distinctive perspective, one that bridges the gap between organisational talent needs and the broader landscape of emerging and underutilised talent.
Her contributions have been recognised through several awards, including the 2026 HR Diversity Award and the Afro-Caribbean Society Diversity Champion Award, accolades that reflect her sustained commitment to advancing social mobility, broadening access to opportunity, and building more inclusive workplaces.
